To all of Dave's family and friends I send my heartfelt sympathies. I was so lucky to have known Dave. My staff and I called him "the world's nicest customer" Robin and I knew Dave would stop in on his way to work and that all the grumpy unkind customer comments would fade away with Dave's visit. His smile as if he were genuinely glad to see us, his caring & compassionate words would encourage us to go on. When I was lucky enough to win enough money to buy a home Dave was my biggest cheering section. The last time I saw him was at Christmas time just before my husband retired. I hadn't seen Dave in a long time but he recognized me from a neighbouring gas pump and came running over. I didn't see a thing until I was enveloped in a huge bear hug and there was Dave shouting "Merry Christmas" How are you kid? Rest in Peace Dave. Our neck of the woods has lost a truly amazing, kind, compassionate man. I will miss you forever as will your family and friends
