Thorbjornsson, Volundar H. “Wally”
Wally passed away suddenly at his home on Mississippi Lake on Friday May 14th, 2021 at the age of 49 years. He will be greatly missed by his wife Daja Kjartansdottir, their children Isabella Volundardottir, Agnes Eva Volundardottir, Kristjana Inga Volundardottir and William Thor Volundarson. He was the son of Thorbjorn Sigvaldason and Magnea Ingibjorg Magnusdottir, brother of Thorbjorn Thorbjornsson and Sigurjon Magnus Einarsson and son-in-law of Kjartan Gudbjartsson and Kristjana Gigja. He will be sadly missed by family and friends in Iceland as well as friends and business colleagues all over Canada. He was a well known real estate developer and entrepreneur and also a great supporter of his community.
A service to honour his life will be held privately at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth on Wednesday May 26th, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. In remembrance of Wally, donations to Interval House (fundraising@lcih.com.) would be appreciated.
