Obituary of Kevin Topping

It is with shattered hearts that we announce Kevin's life on earth has ended. He will always be with us in spirit. Kevin felt that everyday was a gift. When he was a baby, he had spinal meningitis and the doctors felt he would not survive. He always felt God had another plan, and Kevin spent his life trying to figure out why he was spared. He knew he was given a gift of playing piano and singing, and it was his responsibility to share that talent and bring others joy, and that he did.

When he lost the ability to play, Kevin shared with a friend that "the Lord gave him the gift, and the Lord took it away". He knew then, it was time to prepare to go and be with his family and friends.

Kevin was the loving husband to Anita Lafrance-Topping and the love they shared was felt by many. He is predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Norma (Bramhall) Topping, dear brother Gary, and sister Rhonda. Left to grieve his passing are his siblings, Rick (Maxine), Brent (Beth), Joyce (Randy) McDonnell, Cheryl (Ed) Crobsie and Curtis (Cathie). He will be fondly remembered by Anita's son Cody (Fibi) Glodowski and 2 step-grandsons Michael and Caleb, many nieces and nephews and brother and sister-in-law Tony (Lauraine) Filoso whom he could not have traveled this journey without. Many other inlaws on Anita's side.

He will be missed by many of his music family whom he's had the honour and pleasure to share the stage with. He was truly blessed.
