Wendy passed suddenly at home in St. Thomas on Friday May 28th, 2021 at 62 years of age.  She was the loving mother of Michael, Katie and Eric. Wendy was the cherished daughter of  Dick and Helen (Thomas) Gallinger, sister of Steve Gallinger, Sherrie (David) Whitworth and Karen (John) DeGuilio.  She  will be deeply missed by her partner John Gudmundson along with the extended family and many friends. 

Wendy was the toughest woman we all knew. She took pain and turned it into strength having beaten cancer and pulling through multiple surgeries over the years.  Wendy was also an avid animal lover, activist and was proud to have received her paralegal license after years of hard work and determination.  She faced every challenge thrown her way, and gracefully overcame them all.  She welcomed helping others, and always went out of her way to extend a hand to those in need. 
Due to covid restrictions, the service will be held privately for the family at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth on Saturday, June 5th, 2021 at 10:30 A.M.  Those wishing are welcome to join using a zoom link for the service at  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85881244173
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to The Canadian Cancer Society or The Underdog Railroad Canada, in her honour.  Both of these organizations were held dear to Wendy.
