Kelford, Alvin Edward
Alvin passed away surrounded by the love of his family, as the result of a stroke, in Brockville hospital on Wednesday June 30th, 2021 at the age of 84 years.  He was predeceased by his parents Sam and Mary (Sproule) Kelford, his beloved wife Beth (Warwick) Kelford and his brothers Clifford and Harry Kelford.
Alvin will be sadly missed by his daughter Karen (Carl) Schonauer, son Kevin (Jenny), grandchildren Dakota, Samantha (Anthony),Craig (Taylor), Carrie and Tyler, great grandchildren Allie, Brody, Colton, Aidan and Alivia, brother Bill (Nancy) Kelford and sister-in-law Georgina Kelford.  He will be fondly remembered by all his extended family including the Warwick family and many good friends.  Alvin was the highly respected blacksmith and welder from "Kelford's Corner".
Visitation will be held on Monday July 5th, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth.  A private service for family will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. followed by interment in Scotch Line Cemetery.  To honour his life,   memorial donations are suggested to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation, 33 Drummond St. West, Perth ON K7H 2K1 or the Stroke Unit, Brockville General Hospital, 75 Charles St Suite 1, Brockville, ON K6V 1S8.  Those wishing to join the service by Zoom link may do so at  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85957775652
