Joanne. Barb and I wish to send our sincere condolences. We were sad and shocked to hear this news. Although we only met Jim on a couple of occasions we could see that you and Jim were very happy together. Hopefully we can get together soon.

Dear Joanne...
It was always great talking to Jim about work-related stuff because he was always curious and open-minded. It was even more fun to talk to him about hockey, and he got me involved as a season ticket holder for Flames, which I still am today!
If heaven is the way we imagine, then he carries you and family in his heart, and a Maple Leafs Crest on his chest.
I have made a donation to Heart and Stroke Foundation in his name...
Hugs to you from Carla and I.

We are sorry to hear James has passed. Our favorite memory is when AC/DC was playing at dinnertime and James was in his glory. Good times.

Ed and I were shocked and saddened to see that James had passed away. He was such an awesome neighbor and always so friendly when chatting over the balconies. You were both in your prime of life to enjoy all that you had planned. We are both so very sorry for your loss and hope that you and Katrina can share the great memories you made in the years you had together. Love to you both

We first met James and Joanne at the Cove Inn at Westport about 5 years ago. We had started building a new home in the area in 2010 and had moved from Montreal in 2013. James and Joanne had also built their new home in the same timeframe and had moved from Alberta. We had become good friends, saw them frequently and went on many outings together. We will certainly miss gentleman James for his intelligence, sense of humor and friendship. He was the most structured individual we ever met! Everything he did had a plan. We express our sincere condolences to James' and Joanne's families.
