It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wendell Francis Crosbie on Tuesday, July 6th, 2021 at the Kingston General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Wendell was the beloved husband of Susan (nee Sweeney). Dearly loved father to Jaime (Dave MacFarlane) and Jenni (Sam) Yuill. Proud grandfather to Averi and Rylan Yuill, and Emma and Mason MacFarlane. Wendell will be sadly missed by his siblings Edward (Cheryl), Herb (Karen), Dianne (Les) White, Carman (Debbie), Louise (the late Wayne Graham), Rose (Bob) Riddell and Georgette (Robert) Cameron. He will also be missed by his mother and father in-law Lilias and Percy Sweeney; Sandra Brown, Sharon (Steve) Bothwell, Jimmy (Mary Anne) Sweeney, Dave (Allison) Sweeney, and by his sister-in-law Norma Brownlee along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Wendell was predeceased by his parents Jeannine and Carman Crosbie and by his brother-in-law Terry Sweeney.
Wendell was a very proud employee of Hydro One for over 37 years in the forestry department. He made many lifelong friends through his career who became his Hydro family. Wendell enjoyed life to the fullest with many great friends, always the life of the party. He loved the outdoors and spent countless hours volunteering to better the conservation of fish, game and wildlife. 
Everyone is welcome to join the family, for a celebration of Wendell's life, outdoors at Timber Run Golf Course, 154 Caldwell St., Lanark on Friday, July 23rd, 2021 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm to share stories and favourite memories of Wendell.
