With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Irene at the age of 91 years on Tuesday July 13^th, 2021 at the Perley and Rideau Veteran’s Health Centre, Ottawa. Her final hours were spent with her family.   Irene was predeceased in 1995 by her loving husband Alan. She was the loved mother of Ian of Florida, Gordon of Ottawa and Brenda (Maurice) of Clarence Creek.  Irene was the dear sister of the late Nessie Stewart; adored grandmother of Kristen (Brandon), Caitlin (Ted), Levi, Julia (Everett) and Christopher; great grandmother of Ella, Sophia and the late Jacob.  Irene will also be missed by relatives in Winnipeg, the U.K. and Australia.  Irene and Alan made Perth their home and cherished the friendships they made over the years.

Visitation will be held at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St., W., Perth on Monday July 19^th, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M.  A private service will be held with interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.  In remembrance, donations to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation, 33 Drummond St. West, Perth K7H 2K1 or the Perley and Rideau Veteran's Health Centre Foundation, 1750 Russell Road, Ottawa, ON K1G 5Z6 would be appreciated.
