To the Wilson family, I was so saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. You have all been in my thoughts and prayers this week as you mourn the loss. I know how proud you were of him, and I am sure he knew as well. Mike Sr always spoke of his son with such admiration and love. I have known Mike since Elementary school and he was always a quiet, gentle, friendly and smart soul. It was a pleasure to know him. Mike, Diane and Susan, So sorry to hear about Mikes passing. I remember hearing from his kindergarten teacher when the boys were in school together, there was a “mountain” of words to be learned throughout the year. On The first day Mike read every word on the mountain and asked Mrs Fortner “what do I do now?” We are truly sorry for your loss and hope all these fond memories will help with your sadness Barb & Glenn Perrin

My sincerest condolences to Mike's family and loved ones. I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Mike's brilliant mind, his good-spirited and gentle soul, his clever sense of humor, and his resiliency in handling any challenges he encountered. Mike was *always* up for a rousing game of baseball or road hockey on the school playground during recess, and he always impressed his fellow classmates with his encyclopedic knowledge on a vast array of topics! Mike was an original, a true one-of-a-kind, and I know that those of us who grew up with him learned a lot from him, whether or not it was apparent to him (and whether or not we expressed it to him). I am so very happy that Mike was a part of my life growing up, and I am a better person for having known him. To Mike's family: I hope that the coming days are filled with only the happiest recollections of Mike, and that you may find peace and healing during these difficult times. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.

I’ll always remember Mike as a kind and gentle soul ~ very down to earth and extremely intelligent. I went all through school with him and his dad would always bring a cake in for the class on his birthday. My condolences to his parents and sister Susan. Heaven just got a little nicer.
