Obituary of Jean Stirling MacFarlane

Passed peacefully on August 1, 2021 in her 99^th year at the Perth Community Care Centre. Predeceased by her parents David George and Jennie Stuart MacFarlane (nee Somerville), as well as by her siblings John, George, Gordon, Lloyd, and Elizabeth. She leaves behind to mourn her brother Robert, as well as her many nieces and nephews; The Thompson family: Fran Joaquin, Alan (Carol Brown), Jean (Don McIntyre), Bruce (Karen Wilson), Stewart (Ann Gamble), Helen (Chuck White), Marilyn, Mary, Dorothy (Kim Legassic), Kenny, and Ronnie (Jennifer Lindsay); The MacFarlane Family: Joan Kuchta, Bob (Leica Desarmia), Diane, John (Janice Winton); and Katie (Bill Davies), Nancy (Brian Stead). Formerly of Almonte, Ontario, Jean had a deep faith and attended Eastern Pentecostal Bible College in Saskatchewan in her younger years, graduating with the class of 1953. Those wishing to pay their respects will be received at Blair & Son Funeral Home in Smiths Falls, 112 Beckwith St. N., on Thursday August 5, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. A private family service and burial will follow at Auld Kirk Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Independent Assemblies of God Church, Smiths Falls.
