Sales, Graham Louis It is with heavy hearts that his loved ones announce the sudden death of Graham Louis Sales on July 12, 2019, at Ottawa General Hospital, from cardiac arrest following a very recent diagnosis of a rare and extremely aggressive form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Graham was predeceased by his parents Harold and Lyn Sales. He will be greatly missed by his partner and best friend Pat Lovell and her family, including parents John and Theresa Miller, brothers Brian (Louise), Barry (Barb), Timmy, and Terry, sisters Pauline Stuart (Richard) and Penny Tracey (Gerald) as well as by Pat's children Kirtus Evoy (Lisa), Janel (John Gonzales) and Markus (Mallory Gilbert). Graham will also be deeply missed by long time family friends Pam and Phil LaPalme, Keith Clarke (Yelitza) and Keith's children Gregory and Catherine. At the time of his death, Graham had been retired for 8 years following a successful career with Ontario Correctional Services, serving most recently as Operational Manager, St. Lawrence Valley Correctional & Treatment Centre. Graham's service was distinguished by his unwavering commitment to the rehabilitation of inmates with whom his communications were characterized by respect and compassion. Graham brought these same qualities to all of his interactions with others. He was known for his kindness, generosity, loyalty, open- mindedness and genuine interest in the views of others - he listened deeply and without judgment. He was a true gentleman with a terrific sense of humour and the integrity that comes from the confidence to be true to himself at all times. Graham's family and friends are invited to join in a service to honour his life and his contribution to each of our lives on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West Perth www.blairandson.com, with a visitation from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. and a service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. A donation to one of the following charities in honour of Graham would be greatly appreciated: the Lanark Animal Welfare Society, the Perth & Smith Falls District Hospital or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
