Obituary of Mac McLellan

Mac passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Lanark Lodge on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021 at the age of 85. He leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, Norma (nee Haveron), and his children Steven (Rosemarie) and Wendy (Allen Brooke). Mac was the treasured grandfather of Mandy (Matt Cooper), Elecia (Jarod Chinnick), Thomas (Kayla), Matthew Brooke (Amanda Bentley) and David (Haley) Brooke; he was also the cherished great-grandfather of 10. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Jean Lowry, Betty McLellan, and Pauline McNamee. Mac was the beloved son of the late Oliver and Emily (nee Christian) and was predeceased by his sisters Edna Thomas and Patricia Bolton and his brothers Paul and Jack McLellan. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Lanark Lodge for all their care and support over the last couple of years. 
A private family service will take place at a later date.  Interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. In honour of Mac, memorial contributions to Lanark Lodge would be appreciated by the family.
