Laming, Kathleen “Kay”

We are sad and heartbroken to announce the passing of Kathleen “Kay” (Fielding) Laming.  Kay passed away at the age of 83 years on Saturday August 7th, 2021 in the Perth hospital with her family by her side.  She was the beloved soulmate to her husband Preston for 65 years and loving mother of her only son Shawn.  Kay was the treasured grandmother to Olivia and Bradi (Travis). She will be sadly missed by her greatest treasures, great grandchildren Blake, Beckett, Gracelynn  and Addison.  Kay is survived by brothers George and Ken Fielding, sister Sandra Laming and numerous nieces,  nephews, family and friends.   She was predeceased by her  parents George and Elizabeth (Cattell) Fielding, 2 brothers and 8 sisters.

Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth Tuesday August 10th, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Due to current restrictions, the funeral service will be held privately on Wednesday followed by interment in Elmwood Cemetery.  Those wishing are asked to consider memorial donations to the Foundation of the Great War Memorial Hospital, 33 Drummond St. West, Perth K7H 2K1.
