Dear Jean and family I am so sorry for your loss.Doug was a sweet man I remember when I owned the Cango station he would come in every morning for coffee with the boys he always had a smile on his face. He always treated me right when he would look after my appliances and some times he would even tell me I will order you the part and you can fix this one yourself and he was always right about that I will miss him dearly

Our heartfelt condolences to Jean & the family.Doug was a nice guy that everyone liked!
The last time he came to our place for repairs on the dishwasher, he told me to buy a Bosch! Well, I listened. And Doug always came to buy 2 small pieces of Sirloin steak every Friday night when we owned the butcher shop. And we always seen him sitting out on the front deck, waving when we walked by. Some people leave a "print" on you, he's one of them.

So sorry to hear of Doug's passing. He was a kind man. He visited our home often to fix many things. I will always remember the day he came to look at my washing machine.....me holding my six month old (who is now 27) and he looked at me and said "I think you have a lot of washing ahead and you should now buy a new machine". No every service man would have done this! I even asked for his suggestion on what to buy, only a service man would know what would last. He will be truly missed.

Dear Jean and Family. We were very sorry to read of Doug’s death. You were both such great neighbours to our mother and she always spoke so highly of Doug’s willingness to help her when she needed it. They also shared a lot of laughs.
