Cosgrove, Elizabeth "Betty"

Betty passed away peacefully in the Perth Hospital in the early morning of Saturday, August 28th, 2021 in her 100th year.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband Francis "Frank" Cosgrove, daughter Joan Strobel, grandson Paul Kelly and siblings Monica Allison, Roy Drouin, Bob Drouin and Norah Conroy.  Betty will be greatly missed by her brother Ron Drouin, son-in-law Hans Strobel, daughters Christine (Greg) Kelly, Mary Anne (Jim) Dugmore, Elizabeth Cosgrove (Dave Wylie) and sons Michael (Judy Cosby) and Frank Cosgrove (Alison).  She was the loved and respected grandmother of Sean (Mena) and Kevin Kelly SJ, Matthew and Kevin Cosgrove, Jamie Dugmore, Luke (Brittany) and Erin (Chan) Cosgrove, Tracy (Bryan) Klien and Chris Wylie.  She was the great-grandmother of Andrew, Kristina, Grace, Brigid, Hazel, Talya, Austin, Troy and Benjamin.  She will be sadly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Tuesday, August 31st, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00pm.  The Mass of Christian Burial  will be celebrated privately in St. John's Church, Perth on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 at 11:00 A.M.  Those wishing may view the service which will be live streamed at this link https://youtu.be/1nwpdqeXIug Private interment will be held in St. John's Parrish Cemetery following the service.  In remembrance, contributions to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
