I am truly saddened to see this news of Nancy’s passing. I had the pleasure to work with Nancy for many years in Ontario and then PEI when she moved to our VAC head office. Nancy was a true mentor and one of a kind manager. I played golf with Nancy many times in Ontario and PEI and she took no prisoners when it came to the game! My condolences to Katie and her family and hope you know how much your sister was appreciated and respected in and out of the work place.

We had the pleasure of knowing Nancy after she purchased our condo in Perth. She was a kind and thoughtful neighbour and we were grateful when she become involved in the management of our building as a member of our board of directors. She was also an avid golfer and played on our ladies team various times. At one point we both had winter homes in Florida and we were able to visit Nancy (and Chester) at her Florida abode. The world is truly a small place. Our Florida neighbours were from PEI and they knew Nancy from Veterans Affairs and the golf course. Our deepest condolences to Katie, Chris and James. May your fond memories bring you comfort.
