At the Smiths Falls site of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital, Saturday, Oct. 16th Martin lost his courageous battle with cancer. A well-known resident and business owner (Martins) of Wolford Township, Marty spent the past 42 years providing services to the area’s residents. Enjoying the rural life, he always made time for his customers and friends; he couldn’t be hurried. He tried his best to contribute to local charities and individuals who needed support. Left to mourn the loss of his kind nature and surprisingly wry humour, is his partner of 23 years, Nan Allison. As per Martin’s wishes no service will take place. In remembrance of Martin, contributions to A Chance Animal Rescue Inc. would be appreciated.
