Our thoughts are with you. When we first moved in next to Elmer's farm, we loved when he would randomly stop in to say hello, and we always enjoyed popping down to the barn to see him. He was always pleasant giving. One of our favorite memories is when he showed up out of the blue with a sled and two of his horses and took us for an amazing sleigh ride all through the woods. Once covid hit, we missed seeing him out and about, however we were grateful for the times we were able to visit with him.

My sincere sympathies to my dear friend, Sue Reid. I live in Utah and met Sue & Elmer 11 years ago through my son who was serving a mission in their area for a time. Thankfully, FaceTime made it possible for me to have long visits with both of them. Elmer was always engaging, cracking jokes, and telling funny stories. My day was always a little brighter when I spent a few minutes talking with him. Sue has been a wonderful wife & friend to Elmer. They were lucky to have each other. Until we meet "again"...

I want to send my deepest sympathies to my Mom, Susan Reid. Elmer was a hard nut to crack, but when you did, he was just the most endearing man. He was always quick witted right up until the last visit I was so fortunate to have with him just a few short months ago. Mom, I know you loved him with all of your heart and that you were there for him always, taking care of every need he had right until the end. Hold onto that last memory of walking into the room and getting that infectious smile he gave you. I will miss you Elmer, but I know you are free....
