Father to Jason Miskelly (tragically predeceased by suicide on Nov 2, 2018) and Amanda Lecompte (Miskelly). Adored father in law to Richard Lecompte and Robyn O’Neill (Mark Rockburn). He will be forever cherished by his 4 beautiful grandchildren, Alexandra Lecompte, Sebastien Lecompte, Maeve Miskelly and Vincent Lecompte. In 1970, Steven was a young but devoted father and husband who worked at Ralph Clark Stone for 9 years, then Sommerville for 9 more years before becoming a proud and accomplished business owner and operator of Rideau Meats for the next 20 years. He was a lover of baseball, fishing, hunting, gardening, travelling, antiques, raising sheep and spending endless hours sharing and enjoying his farm with his family and friends. Steven was well known and respected in the Smiths Falls community and beyond for working hard and playing even harder. He was so proud of his family, extremely generous, kindhearted, loyal and passionate about living life to its fullest. He was tremendously loved beyond words by his family and closest friends and will forever be greatly missed!
