cheers to my twin - being away from home has posed some challenges, and this is one of them. i’m trying not to feel guilty for not coming to see you when i knew it may be my last chance - it’s not easy.. but i keep trying to remember, you wouldn’t want me to feel that pain, it’s not time for more pain. Your pain and suffering is over, and i can find beauty in that - it’s time for healing and the celebration of life, for memories and family. Our society has a weird relationship with grief, with it comes shock, guilt, anger, and depression. Everyone processes loss differently and this loss will be tough. But, I owe it to you to not let it consume me, I owe it to you to not let it affect my schooling and i owe it to you to always find the silver lining. I will be with you in spirit. This is not a goodbye, but a see you later. I know ur somewhere flying with the birds laughing ur ass off. Love u Leonard. ps- no, i do not have a boyfriend, boys r gross

I am so sorry to learn of your loved ones passing, even though I never knew your loved one personally,many great stories I was often told of him by my relatives in Lanark. I worked with Diane at the GWM Hospital way back when she was head nurse on second floor,a wonderful lady and great nurse who cared deeply for her patients. We are so sorry to hear about Leonard’s passing. His personality was larger than life, always taking time to talk to us as children, making us feel that we could do anything. He treated the next generation, our children, the same. It was always wonderful when we would be invited over for breakfast by Leonard and Diane, go for boat rides and water ski, or have a game of euchre or crib. These memories will always be cherished. Rest In peace my friend.
