Obituary of Gladys Beatrice Kilpatrick

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished mother, Gladys Beatrice Kilpatrick, on Thursday, November 18, 2021, in her 98th year, peacefully at Lanark Lodge. Predeceased by her loving husband Roy.  She leaves to mourn her children, Arlene (late Reg) Norris, Carl (Joyce), Ray (Nancy), Jane (Mike), Amy, Paul (Lisa) Kilpatrick. Loving Nanny to her grandchildren, Blair (Lesley), Scott (Stacey) Norris, Shane (Natasha), Joe (Jessica), Sarah (Scott), Gillian Kilpatrick, Justin (Krystal) Moore, Kendra (Colin) Richmond, Graydon (Amanda) Kilpatrick, and her great-grandchildren, Daniel (Cassandra), Patrick, Emily, Kelsey, Meredith Norris, Ben, Rylin, Lauren, Atticus, Willow Kilpatrick, Nora and Ella Blair, and great-great-grandson David Norris.  Gladys will be sadly missed by her brother Keith (Kim) Blair and sister-in-law Lila Blair along with numerous nieces and nephews and many extended family and friends. Mom was predeceased by her brothers Cecil, Jim and Don Blair and sisters Dorothy Kennedy and Jean Blair. 

Our mother was beautiful, strong, loving, and kind. She cared deeply for her community. Mom's courage and determination were an inspiration to everyone who knew her.  We will miss her warm hugs and beautiful smile. The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to the entire staff of Lanark Lodge for their care and compassion. 

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be a private family service at Blair and Son Funeral Home, Perth at a later date. Internment will take place next to her beloved husband Roy, at Bolingbroke Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Scott Blair for his exceptional attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and forever continued love and support.
