Obituary of Gerry Stolee

Stolee, Gerry (Gionilda) nee Long
With her daughters at her bedside, Gerry passed away in Lanark Lodge, Perth on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021 at the age of 90 years.  She was the beloved wife of Erling for 68 years and cherished mother of Ginny (Gordon), Karen (Douglas) and Kate (James).   Nanna had a special place in her heart for each of her grandchildren, Hayley (Corey), Wynne (Zach) and Erik (Kayla), her great granddaughter Audrey and her loving sister Joan (Clifford) Mendum.  She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Gerry was predeceased by her parents Charles and Gionilda (Maccafere) Long. We would like to express our special thanks to the wonderful staff at Lanark Lodge who treated our mom with the upmost respect, dignity and caring while she lived at the Lodge.

Services will be held privately for the family.  Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
In remembrance of Gerry, contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville or LAWS (Lanark Animal Welfare Shelter) would be appreciated.
