Obituary of Northland Norm Smith

Passed peacefully on January 18, 2022 at Lanark Lodge at the age of 82. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Rena Smith (nee Norton), his daughter Penny Smith, as well as his siblings Marion Toupin, Charles Smith, Myrtle Villars, Jean Skeith, Hazel Lascelle, Joan Pilon, and Donald Smith. Norman leaves behind his beloved wife Dianne Echlin-Smith; his children Norma Hannah (nee Smith), and Douglas Smith; his step-children Wendy Harper (nee Giff), Terry Giff, and Gregory Allen; as well as his brother Joseph Smith. He will be dearly missed by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, distant family, and friends.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home (112 Beckwith St., N.) on Sunday January 23, 2022 from 1pm to 4pm. A private funeral service will be held on Monday January 24, 2022 at 11am. For those wishing to attend the funeral service on Monday please contact the family at 613-283-2995.
