With deep sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved mother on January 19th, 2022, at the age of 100. She passed away peacefully at home with her loving daughters by her side.  She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Hanna and daughter of the late Burns and Susie Gordon. Bertha was the dearly loved mother and grandmother of Sherry Laidlaw and daughters Shannon Scarrow, Brianna Hall (Luke), Kayla Laidlaw (Nick), Jenna Laidlaw (Vanessa Brault), Tia Laidlaw (Brittany Inthof); Nancy Fish (Rick) and daughters Rebecca Monus (Tom), and Amanda Dawson (Dean); Marsha Donaldson (Brian) and family Ryan Donaldson, Courtney Donaldson (Brian Ward), Blake and Karley Donaldson. She will be sadly missed by her 14 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Grayce Gordon, Beverley Hanna and Jean Hanna along with many special nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours. Bertha was predeceased by sister Gladys Gemmill (Willard), brothers Ross Gordon, Billy Gordon (Doris), Jimmy Gordon (Clare), Ed Gordon (Phyllis), Clifford Gordon (Marjory) and Bobby Gordon. The funeral and interment service in Elmwood Cemetery will be held privately for the immediate family due to current restrictions.  Memorial donations to the Lanark Animal Welfare Society (LAWS) or Perth Cemetery Company (Elmwood Cemetery), Perth would be appreciated.  Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
