Obituary of Penny Mae Harper

Penny passed away peacefully at home, Smiths Falls, on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the age of 59. Loving wife of Bill Harper. Devoted mother to Stacey (Alex Horvath) Harper, Christopher (Kandice) Harper. Much loved grandmother of Maddison and Ayva-Claire. Sister to George (Freida) Gallipeau, June (Ron) McNeely, Ruth (Dave) Turner, Donna (Rick) Laming. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Isabel Gallipeau, her brother Bill (Louise) Gallipeau. Daughter-in-law of Fran (Bob) Harper, sister-in-law to Jim (Debbie) Harper, Donald (Kathy) Harper and the late John Harper. Loving aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews. Will be sadly missed by her many friends and neighbours and co-workers at Greenfield Global. Thank you to everyone for all of the help, food and support over the last eight months. Thank you to Dr. McGregor, the doctors and nurses at KGH and the home care nurses from Saint Elizabeth health care. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to please contact the family as there are capacity limits in place. The funeral service will take place in Blair & Son Chapel, Thursday, February 3 at 11:00 a.m. Please note that proof of vaccination is required to attend the funeral service on Thursday. In memory of Penny, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lanark Animal Welfare Society
