Obituary of Dorothy Lillian Bawn

Passed away peacefully at Rosebridge Manor on Monday, January 31, 2022 at the remarkable age of 101.  Dorothy is predeceased by her beloved husband Allan Bawn in 2013, her cherished son Ronnie in 1960 and her parents Leslie and Edna (nee Hartley) LePetrie.  Loving and devoted mother of Barbara Campbell, and  when her grandchildren came along, Brad, Michael (Sarah) and the late Sheri who passed away in 2004 she was affectionately known as Granny.  Proud "Great-Granny" of Joshua, Nathan, Evan, Ella and Eli.  Dorothy was also predeceased by her siblings Pearl, Ruth, Edna and Evelyn.  She will be fondly remembered by her sister Shirley, her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

To have her as my Mom has been the greatest blessing life has brought me.

There will be a gathering taking place at Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 1 p.m. until the time of the service in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m.  Interment will follow at the columbarium at Hillcrest Cemetery. Due to current Covid 19 restrictions, the family have requested anyone attending any and all services for Dorothy, must show proof of vaccination, along with government issued photo ID.
