Obituary of Nora Rita Prevost

Passed away peacefully at home with her family on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the age of 81.  Beloved wife of the late Oliver Moses Prevost. Loving and devoted mother of Rita (Mark) Davidson.  Cherished grandmother of Sierra Davidson, Kenna Davidson, Hannah Colby, August, Andrew, Joseph and Liam Davidson. Nora is predeceased by her parents Albert and Viola Morin (nee LePlante) and many siblings.  She will be fondly remembered by Raymond Prevost, Emily Ross, Natalie Panqueva, Johanne Quesnel and Olivia Shaw.

Her family is grateful for the excellent care her numerous PSW and nurses from Bayshore who provided such loving and compassionate care of Nora for so many years, enriching the quality of her life. Special mention to Dr Brian Penny for his compassion and understanding over the years but especially near the end.

There will be a gathering at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 6 - 8 p.m.  There will be a graveside service taking place at Pinecrest Cemetery in Ottawa on Friday at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Daughters of Mary.
