Blanchard, Lois Ellen (nee Raganold)
Lois passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022 at the age of 90 years, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband Elgin, grandson David, parents Clifford and Ellen (Meers) Raganold, brother Clifford and sister Irene. Lois was the loving mother of Katherine, Barbara (Dale), Steven (Janet), David, Victoria and Thomas (Cindy). She was the cherished grandmother of Michael, Brian, Robert, Scott, Sarah, Robin and Elizabeth and great-grandmother of Audrey, Dexter, Jacob, Lorelei, Noah, Spencer, Norah, Amelia, Sophia, Henry, Malcolm and Oliver. Lois will be dearly missed by her sisters Shirley (John) and Margaret (Stuart) and her long-time friend and golfing buddy Marilyn Bolger.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Liu and all the staff at Lanark Lifestyles for the wonderful care they provided. A Celebration of Lois’ Life will be held at 122 Elizabeth Drive, Rideau Ferry, Ontario K7H 3C7 on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. In honour of Lois, memorial contributions to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital, 33 Drummond St. West, Perth would be appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
