January 1960 – February 2022
Jim passed away peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on February 24th, 2022 surrounded by his children and sisters at the age of 62. He was the beloved father of James Henderson and Heather Foster and the loving grandfather of Gavin, Kaleb and Ava. Jim was the dear brother of Kathy (Howard) and Juanita (Bill) and the cherished uncle of Mathew, Dustin, Keesha, MacKenzie, Karson, Tiffanie, Jordan and Brayden. He was predeceased by his parents Doug and Marlene Foster and by his brother Charlie. Jim will be sadly missed by his fur baby Dasher and will be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Jim has overcome many hurdles in his life, taking the challenge and beating all odds, never giving up. He truly loved the great outdoors, and enjoyed many activities; hunting, fishing, gardening, maple syrup making at the farm to name a few.
Friends are invited to join the family for Jim's graveside ceremony at St. Andrew's Cemetery, Watson's Corners on Saturday, August 13th, 2022 at 11:00am. A celebration of his life will follow at the Watson's Corners Community Hall. In honour of Jim, memorial contributions to St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Watson Corners Would be appreciated.
