Obituary of Dan McIsaac

McIsaac, Dan (Thomas) 1952-2022

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dan at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday February 22, 2022 with his loving wife Peggy (Emond) by his side.

Predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Dorothy McIsaac as well as his brother Kevin and sister Susan Lee.  Proud father of Scott, and Dennis McIsaac and cherished step-father to John Chapados (Sophie) and Serena (deceased).

He will also be missed by the mother of his children and first wife, Sally, as well as family friend Rebecca Finch.  Amazing grandfather to five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

We are comforted in knowing that Dan has crossed the rainbow bridge to meet his dearest fur baby Molly.  Dan held an impressive 30 year career as an electrician and PGS instructor with North Warning System.

As per his wishes there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has been entrusted to Hillside Funeral Services.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Truong for his dedication to Dan’s care and to Robynne Lavoie for her presence during our difficult days.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dan’s memory can be to the North Bay Regional Health Centre cancer care unit.
