Dear Brenda and all I have just watched your Mom’s service after three attempts. What a beautiful to a wonderful lady. Yes she was a great card person. Airways remembered me even after Mom was gone. When they mentioned ironing. It was ironing day when we used to go for our long walks. Your Mom always had you dressed in one of your pretty wee dresses and the pole in your cupboard had a full row of sweet wee things just waiting to be worn. We walked and walked and those wee legs had the best summer tan. You developed another nickname “ Brenda brown legs.” Even Dr Ashwell noticed them. I am so sorry I could not attend but I am struggling with health issues currently. Your Mom sure made my Mom’s work days in Minor Surgery a really happy , pleasant experience. The tributes given today were beautiful for such a deserving lady. My Mom used to get so upset with me when I called you by the nickname I have attached to you all those years ago. Well you will always be Brenda B to me. Take care and I hope we can be in touch sometime Georgie

Brenda and Rob, I am so sorry for the lost of your Mom. She was a great Christian women. She always made you feel good. Her smile was infectious and always made me laugh. I had the joy of working with Lois at the RRC in the Nursing Department. She was a great nurse and a pleasure to know. God bless her in heaven. Debbie Warren

Shirley Jones for the Brockville General Hospital Nurses Alumnae Dear Brenda, Rob and Families, Your dear Mom was one of our graduates from the Nursing program at B.G.H. in '51. Many of us who knew her looked forward each year at Reunion in June to see her return with some of her classmates to enjoy the festivities. She was always so happy to see everyone and would make a point of having a visit and friendly chat with all of us. Dear Brenda B ,Rob and families I was so sorry when Perry H told me the sad news about your dear Mom. I will never forget the walks we had and all your pretty little dresses that she hung in a row in your closet. I bet their is a big gathering of Minor Surgery staff taking place right now. You can almost hear the clatter, giggles and laughter. It was people like your Mom that made going to work each day for my Mom. know how much you will miss her, spending so much time with her but time you will never regret. Rob to you ,she always looked so forward to your coming “ home “ visits and used to tell about your children. You missed all the excitement of our long walks and getting a summer tan To Rob, Elaine and Doris My deepest sympathy in the loss of Robbie.
