Obituary of Bernard Andre Beaudry

Beaudry, Bernard A.

Bernard passed away peacefully at Lanark Lodge on 16 March 2022 in his 82nd year. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years Janet (nee Dyet) and by his dear sister Jeannine Seguin (Jacques) of Coteau du Lac, PQ. He was the cherished uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.

Aside from a wicked sense of humour, Bernard was a kind, loving and generous relative and friend. He was a successful electrical contractor which enabled him to retire at a very young age. In retirement he became an accomplished artist (oil paintings), a creator of whimsical sculptures, a wood carver and a maker of wood furniture.

The family wishes to send an enormous thank you to the staff at Lanark Lodge, particularly the nursing staff in The Maples for their hard work, warmth and kindness.

A celebration of Bernard’s life will be held at a later date. In honour of him, memorial contributions to the Lanark, Leeds & Grenville Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
