The passing of a legend!! Lois was such an amazing person. I am so lucky to have shared my entire earth life with her. My first memory of Lois is of myself as a three year old confidently marching into the OR of the GWM Hospital in Perth to have my tonsils out. No fear because Lois was beside me as the nurse.
As a teenager I delighted in Lois’s array of great cars. How cool to have this female adult cousin with the nickname “Hot Rod Bolton”! Her warmth, caring, kindness, sense of adventure and common sense touched us all. And she always looked like a million dollars. She was a wonderful combination of Mother Theresa, the Queen Mother, Martha Stewart and Merrill Streep!
To Steve, Dave, John, Michael, Sarah and Adam she was so proud of you people and delighted in each of your excellences. Thank you so much Steve and Dave for not being helicopter kids your love and support enabled her to live her final years as she wished.
Love and sympathy to all of Lois Family and Friends from Cliff and I.

Steve, Dave and Families,
Sending most sincere condolences on your Mother's passing.
I will always remember your Mother as an elegant, classy lady possessing a quick sense of humor and an easy laugh. Our parents were friends through the church, and socially and they enjoyed some grand times together.
Later in life, I often was drafted to be 'the driver', for Mom and Lois' forays to Balderson for lunch and clothes shopping. Our Mom's really enjoyed those little trips, and it was listening to the post day- trip 'debriefings' that I came to realize that clothes shopping was actually a competitive sport !
Very happy Lois made it to her special birthday. She had a kind heart, an inquisitive mind and will be greatly missed by anyone with the great fortune to have known her. Truly, a life well lived.

I’m so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I meet your mom when she was Dr Church’s nurse and I always thought she was so professional I think it is one of the reasons I became a nurse. I was fortunate enough to see her many times at church as well. When I started volunteering at Perth community support it was a pleasure once again to meet Lois again. I know she was excited to have her 100th birthday with family and friends. I’m sure she will be missed by everyone .

I send you my deepest condolences for the passing of your Mother and Grandmother. What a beautiful smile she has and I will always remember it to be warm and welcoming. I was so impressed to know she had reached 100 years young and to continue to live in her own home, all these years after your Dad's passing. It will be sad to know it is not she who now resides in that home any longer as it has always been known to me as "the Bolton's home" but likely always will be. Sincerely, Brenda Dubé (McVeigh)
