Obituary of Diane Carol Moodie

Passed peacefully with family by her side on April 5, 2022 at the Perth Hospital at the age of 77. Predeceased by her parents Reginald and Jean Price (nee Burns), as well as her son Darryl Jessup. Diane leaves behind her husband Eric Moodie; her children Dean Jessup (Karen), Dawn-Marie McEachern (Mike), and Debbie Walters; as well as her grandchildren Melinda Baker, Tylor and Katie Irvine, David, Katrina, and Dylan Jessup (Deanna), and Jon-Michael McEachern; her 11 beautiful great-grandchildren, and her dog Foxy. She will be greatly missed by her best friend and fellow canasta player/cheater Laura Dinelle. The family would like to give a special thanks to Linda Morris in housekeeping at the Perth Hospital who always had time to make Diane laugh. Friends and family are welcome to attend the graveside service on Monday April 11, 2022 at United Cemetery (2677 Cemetery Side Rd) in Carleton Place at 10:00 a.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to either the Lanark Animal Welfare Society, or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Diane’s name.
