Hughes, M. Helen (nee Fowler)

Passed away peacefully with her beloved husband and best friend Gordie by her side, on Friday, April 8, 2022 at the age of 88.  Helen will be sadly missed by her brother Gerald (Mary) Fowler and her sisters-in-law Carol (Karl) McDonald and Marie (late Milt) Roberts.  She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, Gordie's entire family and friends.  She was also predeceased by her parents Daniel and Lauraine (nee Quigley) Fowler, and her siblings Dorothy Vajda, Phyllis Eagan, Lawrence and Desmond Fowler. Helen's family would like to thank the many doctors and nursing staff at Broadview Nursing Home, for their care and concern for Helen in her latter years. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial Celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 11 a.m.  A private family interment will take place at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Francis de Sales Building Fund.
