With profound sadness and love we announce the passing of Phyllis Elaine Strong (McLaren) on April 20, 2022, in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband David and infant daughter Catherine, she is survived by her three children, Chris (Patti), Elaine (Tom) and Andrew (Deanne), and her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Sarah, Alexander, Lilli and Davidson. She will be sadly missed by her sister Joan, brother George (Barbara), her extended McLaren, Sample and Strong families, and many dear friends.

In accordance with Phyllis’ wishes, there will be no funeral service. Interment will be held for immediate family at St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Brooke at a later date. A celebration gathering in her memory will be held this summer for family and friends.
Donations in memory of Phyllis may be made to the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
