Janet passed away unexpectedly at the age of 67 years old at the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.  Cherished wife of Doug South and beloved mother of Jennifer Brennan (Mike), Andrew Evans (Andrea) and Nicolaas South (Elena).  Adored grandma of Parker, Charlotte and Oliver Brennan and Lillianna and Violet Evans.  Dear sister of Judy Barclay (Paul) and daughter of Bill Patterson (Anne) and predeceased by her mother Delores Patterson.  Aunt to Janice Barclay and Jeff Barclay (Helen).  Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls on Saturday May 14, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life in the chapel at 12:00 noon with a reception following.  As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada or the Lanark Animal Welfare Society.
