Obituary of Ronald S. Visser

Visser, Ronald S. "Ron"
Ron passed away in the Perth hospital on Sunday May 22nd, 2022 at the age of 76 years. He was loved husband of Jean (Pennett) Visser; predeceased by his first wife Carolyn (Walker) Visser and his parents Sjoerd and Attje (DeVries) Visser. Ron will be sadly missed by his sons Todd (Nancy), Steven (Cinthia), Andrew (Lora) and Matthew (Mireille) Visser; grandchildren Hannah, Hunter, Holly, Samuel, Thomas, Eric and Henry Visser; step-children Brian (Karen) Cox, Donna (Ernie) Ferguson; step-grandchildren Tyler Cox, Derek (Emily) Ferguson, Sarah (Marshall) James and step-great-grandchildren Leland and Declan Ferguson and Braelei James. He was the loved brother of Tim (Alice) Visser, Vicky (late Ralph) Zwiers, Elizabeth Gemmell, Tina McPhee and the late Harry and Bert Visser and their surviving wives Wanda and Ellen Visser. Ron will be fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, his nieces, nephews, family and many good friends.

Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth Wednesday June 1st, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.  The funeral service will be held in the chapel Thursday June 2nd, 2022 at 10:30 A.M.  Interment, Newboyne Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at Farrell Hall, 186 Gore St. E., Perth Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M.  In remembrance of Ron, memorial donations to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation (Perth site) or the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
