Bob passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at one of his favourite places on Sunday June 5th, 2022.  He was predeceased by his parents Mervin "Glenn" and Pearl (Blackburn) McDonald.  Bob was the loved husband for 55 years to Linda (Monk) McDonald.  He was the cherished father of Tammy (Dale Gudmundson), Tom (Mary), Kim (Calvin Henderson) and Roy (Katherine) and grandfather to Selena (Fred Cloutier), Kyle (Laura), Shane, Jordan, Nikki, Aidan, Sarah, Owen and Tyler and very proud great grandfather to Eliza.
Bob will be sadly missed by his siblings Jeannette (Eric Kirkham), Barbara Paul (Sheldon), Audrey McDonald-Thom and Ron (Donna), all his extended relatives and friends.
Bob was a real family man who loved spending time with all of his grandchildren.  He was a very hard worker and was well known for his years as a crane operator.  Bob's favourite relaxation times were fishing, hunting and spending time at the family property on the Bathurst Line.
Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West on Thursday, June 9th, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.  The funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel.  Interment Scotch Line Cemetery, Perth. Family and friends are invited to a reception in the Stanleyville Hall following the interment.
