Comeau, Dorothy Anna
Peacefully at Perth Community Care, Dorothy passed away on June 21st, 2022 just shy of her 95th birthday. She was the beloved mother of Donald (Valerie), Gord (Pam), Dave, Marlene (Jim) Horne and Glenn (Mona). She will be fondly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her brother Carl Stewart (Joyce) and by her sisters-in-law Erma and Ruth. She was predeceased by her parents Harvey and Lila Stewart, her husband Walter Comeau, and by her siblings Jim, Orville and Edith. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Dorothy received great pleasure in volunteering and donating her time to help people. She was a member of the Woman's Institute, Lioness' and Legion as well as a member of the Keenagers for over 30 years. She also received an award from Lanark Transportation when she volunteered with them driving folks to and from their medical appointments. 
Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Blair & Son Funeral Home 15 Gore St. W. Perth, on Wednesday, June 29th, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Dorothy's funeral service will take place in the chapel on Thursday, June 30th, 2022 at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Perth. As expressions of sympathy, memorial contributions to either the Perth Site of the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
