Obituary of Marion Viola Stocker

Marion Viola Stocker (Nee Erwin Thompson)
Our cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Marion Viola Stocker (nee Erwin Thompson) joined her beloved husband Douglas on July 6, 2022 at the age of 88. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Stephen (Randi) and daughter Karen (Stocker) Ritchie, grandchildren Kitson (Lindsay) and Kyle Stocker (Selina) and Matthew and Emma Ritchie, great grandchildren Mattea and Canden Stocker, her sister Shirley, brother Ken, brother in law William (Gisele) Stocker along with many nieces and nephews. She was "mom" to many. Marion is predeceased by her parents Keith and Valentine (Lefebvre) Erwin and Kitson and Marion (Carey) Thompson, her brother Jim and sister Dorene. Marion worked many years in manufacturing and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was an avid knitter, who took up the challenge of any request, and a talented crafter.  She later supported her husband's dream of becoming an Anglican Minister, taking her on a new journey that she quickly adapted to and excelled at. Upon retirement they relocated back to Perth welcoming the opportunity to rekindled friendships and be closer to family.
She touched the lives of many and will fondly be remembered for her generosity and kindness.  
The family would like to thank the staff of Perth Community Care for their unwavering support.  It was greatly appreciated.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth on Saturday July 16th, 2022 from 12:30 to 1:45 P.M.  The funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 2:00 P.M. followed by interment in Elmwood Cemetery.
In remembrance of Marion, contributions to the Diabetes Society or St. James Anglican Church would be appreciated.
