Obituary of George Edward Smith

George passed away suddenly at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Sunday July 17, 2022. Beloved husband and best friend of Gail Smith (nee Cubitt). Sadly missed by his mother-in-law Mildred (the late Hugh) Cubitt, brothers and sisters-in-law Kenny (Debbie) Cubitt, Marshall Cubitt and Cindy (Bill) Saunders. He will be fondly remembered by nieces and nephews Jamie (Chris), Tina (Shawn), Adam, and Bryan; and great-nieces and great-nephews Ayden, Carter, Madison, Haley, Alex, and Paige. Funeral service will be held privately for the family at the Blair & Son Funeral Home Smiths Falls. Followed by inurnment at Hillcrest Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church.
