GAY, Donald James Eric
Peacefully at St. Lawrence Lodge in Brockville, on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, Don of Perth in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Ada Gay (nee Morrow). Loved father of Gary (Deborah) Gay of Brockville, Terry (Sue) Gray of Guelph and Kim (Greg) Tokessy of Kanata. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Cheryl (Richard), Michael, Kevin (Gabriella), Derek (Farryn), Sarah, Annet (Brad), Miriam and Liana and his great grandchildren Adelaide, Oliver, Camilla, Judah, Ezra, Eli, Marissa and Caysen. Dear brother of Hazel (Harvey) Hart. He was predeceased by his parents George and Hazel (Parcher) Gay, grandson Scott, his brother Glenn (Edna) and sisters Irene (John), Gwen (Wilfred), Muriel (Doug), Beatrice (Kevin) and Ailene (Russell). Don will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends and his dear friend of Sharon Bedier. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth, ON on Monday, August 1st, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service in the Chapel at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be held at Capital Memorial Gardens for family only. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or CHEO Cardiology Department would be appreciated by the family.
