Obituary of Jeanette Marlene Parrell

Passed peacefully with family by her side on August 5, 2022 at the Smiths Falls Hospital at the age of 75. Jeanette is predeceased by her parents Wallace and Agnes (nee Quilty) Parrell; her brothers William, Harold, Vincent, and Wallace; as well as her grandchildren Vincent and Kayla. She leaves behind her children Brenda and Edward Noftall, and Christopher (Trudy) and Jeanette Morgan; her grandchildren Darren, Andrea, Carlie, Rebecca, Steven, Jamie, Stephanie, Jordan, and Ryan; her great-grandchildren Christopher, Trulyn,  Alaiya, Spencer, Patrick, Kaydence, Roy, Klaire, Raiyden and Skye-Lynn; her sisters Margaret and Flo (George); her brother Dan (Mildred); and Joan Cobham, her soul sister. Jeanette was a very active member of her parish and carried out many roles, her favourite of which was the sacristan’s duties. She had a beautiful, giving spirit and touched many lives with her generosity. The family would like to thank the many special friends who showed up for Jeanette and helped her along her journey, providing food, rides to appointments, companionship, and comfort. She was blessed with so many wonderful people to support and uplift her. Friends and family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis de Sales Church (17 Elmsley St N) on Tuesday August 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery. In Jeanette’s memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the St. Francis de Sales Outreach Program would be greatly appreciated.
