Obituary of Gordon Elwood Burke
Peacefully at the Perth Hospital on Sunday, August 21st, 2022, Gordon passed away at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Kaye. Gordon was the loving father of Lloyd (Cindy), Winnie, Gordon and the late Sterling. He was the cherished grandfather of Crystal (Brad), Blaine (Heather), Cody (Meaghan), Ashley (Chris), Jenna (Jonathan), Sterling, Sheridan and Marshall, he was the great-grandfather of Easton, Wyatt, Kaylee, Logan, Seth, Cora, Caydyn, Isla and Sully. Gordon was the dear brother of Eveline (late Kenneth). He was predeceased by his parents John and Mildred, and by his siblings; Harold (Willerene), Cecil (Florence), Marion (Del), Dorothy (Eddie), Ronald and Orville. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth, on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022 from 1:00pm until the time of Gordon’s funeral service in the chapel at 3:00pm. Interment will follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery. In honour of Gordon, memorial contributions to C.H.E.O. would be appreciated.
