Obituary of Jamie Arthur Mannion
Jamie passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 22nd from cancer. Determined to be with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren for as long as possible, Jamie stayed courageous until the end. He passed away, where he most loved to be, on Otty Lake surrounded by family, with much love and tenderness.
Jamie is survived and deeply missed by his wife, Susan (nee Tessier); their daughters Jessika (Nick Coutts), and Justine (Lee Nevitte); four treasured grandchildren Daxton, Madeleine, Maverick, and Elisabeth; and, his sisters Kathleen and Eileen, and brothers Kevin and Thomas. Jamie is predeceased by his much-loved daughter Lindsay, his mother Shirley Ann, and father Jimmy.
Jamie will always be remembered for his quick wit, outrageous humour, fun-loving personality, and selfless nature.
The family wishes to express their gratitude and extend special thanks for the support and compassionate care provided by the dedicated health care professionals at the Ottawa Hospital, Perth Hospital, and Bayshore HealthCare.
A private service and burial in memory of Jamie will take place at a later date.
