January 27, 1947 - September 17, 2022

After a brief illness Ward passed away with his devoted and loving wife Michelle by his side.  Predeceased by his parents George and Iona and brother Rick.  Loved and respected brother-in-law to Marilyn (late Michael) Wolynice, Nancy (Tom) Lynch and the late Patricia (late Arnold) Branje.  Proud and dear uncle to his nieces and nephews; Michael (Anna), Mark (Sarah), Kristin (Tom), Sean (Janine), Matthew (Mae), Arnold (Sarah), Mary Ann (Matthew), Michael (Jennifer), Erica (Jon) and Andrew as well as many great nieces and nephews.  Ward will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many good friends.  Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m.  followed by a service in the chapel.  Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery.  In memory of Ward, contributions to Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice or St. Patrick's Home would be appreciated. Special thanks to Dr. Hacker and the staff at Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice for their care and compassion.
