I was one of the nurses at the Smiths Falls Hosp, in the ICU, and I had the pleasure of being with your mother. She was a fighter, she had humour in her situation and she had a beautiful spirit. It was a joy to have known her in the short time that we had her. I could tell that she was surrounded by so much love and family. I’m sorry to hear about her passing.

Perry, Trevor and family. I had the great privilege of working with Francine at Shorewood Packaging from 2001 to 2007. As HR Manager she always had the best interests of the employees at heart. Always. She could be firm when she needed to, but always fair. Whenever she got one over on me (which was often) or said something hilarious (which was often), she would do her happy dance. Priceless I have been blessed to have Francine as a friend after our working days. A candle that burns half as long burns twice as bright. And Francine's life has burned oh so brightly. Never to be forgotten and forever in our hearts. RIP dear friend. Darrell Veres

Perry and family… Im am very sad to hear of Francines passing. A very kind, compassionate and lovely lady. I worked at Pant Barn in Perth around 40 yrs ago and Francine was into ceramic classes at that time. I am fortunate to still have and enjoy 6 pieces of her ceramic ware… all initialed with FW. These were given to me as Christmas gifts. I will continue to think of her every time they are used at our family gatherings. Perry, Trevor and family, We started out as work mates and ended up as friends. She was a warm and caring person who was always willing to help whenever she could.
