Dear Derek & Charlie, Michael & family,
I am totally heartbroken hearing of Joni's passing. Joni has been in my thoughts very often over the past few years since we spoke around your 70th Birthday Derek. I wanted to call her this summer, my health was not great. I know there is a special place waiting for my dear friend, where family who already passed on are waiting with open arms and love to greet her. Take comfort in all of the great memories and times that you had. There are so many that I can recall, in Ottawa, Black Lake with her family, boating on the Rideau River in mid eighties. Mike and family, remember the wonderful bonfires at Black Lake where you and Wes would play guitars and sing. Such treasured times.
