Obituary of Margaret Helena Jane Whitmore

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Rosebridge Manor on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the age of 82.  Beloved wife and best friend of Gary Whitmore.  Loving and devoted mother of Mary Typhair (Terry Watt), Debbie (Donny) Lackie, Brenda (Brian) Roske, and Dale Giff. She will be fondly remembered by her step-children Heather Letourneau, Dale Whitmore and David Whitmore.  Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Jacob, Sarah, Micheal, Amber (Chris), Jordyn and Carter, as well as 2 precious great-grandchildren.  Marg will be sadly missed by her step-grandchildren Vanessa, Erica, Elissa and Blake. She is also survived by her siblings; Jessie, Gladys (Roy) Craig, Fred (Doreen) Moulton,  and Cora (late Alvin) Popplewell. Marg is also predeceased by her parents Jacob and Helena (nee Close) Moulton, as well as her brothers Kenneth, Cyris, and John Moulton.  Marg will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in the Smiths Falls and surrounding communities.  The family would like to thank all of the staff and caregivers at Rosebridge Manor for the loving care and concern for Marg.  Also special thanks to Bayshore Health and St. Elizabeth Bruyere Homecare Staff for their care in the years prior to Marg living at Rosebridge. Friends may pay their respects at Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 9 a.m. until the time of the service to celebrate her beautiful life at 11 a.m. in the Chapel.  Interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Ottawa Mission, Salvation Army or the Lanark County Alzheimer Society.
